GALEO Appreciates Senator Rogers' Denouncement of Extremist Threats. GALEO calls on Governor Perdue, Lt. Governor Mark Taylor & all elected officials to denounce threats

Atlanta, Georgia - September 12, 2006.

On Sunday, September 10, 2006, at the Dr. Hal Davison Philosophy Club dinner meeting in Buckhead, Senator Rogers took an opportunity to denounce extremist threats that were recently made to the Georgia Latino Vote 2006 hotline.  GALEO appreciates Senator Rogers' denouncement of these threats and calls on all elected officials, including Governor Perdue and Lt. Governor Mark Taylor to denounce these extremist threats.  Since the threats were made, only
