Wednesday, Feb. 24, 9:00am- 12:00 pm - By the People Lobby Day: Focus on Anti-Racial Profiling Legislation, SB 325 & HB 1009. Join the ACLU of Georgia and ABLE (Atlantans Building Leadership for Empowerment) in the work to pass anti-racial profiling legislation in Georgia. You will learn about the legislation, learn how to talk with your legislators, and learn how to help to pass this legislation. Participants will go to the Capitol together and meet with their legislators. Meet at Coverdell Legislative Office Building (CLOB- located on Mitchell Street across from the Capitol), Room 307 at 9:00 am. Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
