Georgia Latinos Against Domestic Violence Task Force
Vision
To empower the Georgia Latin community to create an environment that promotes non-violence.
Mission
The Georgia Latino Against Domestic Violence Task Force strives to create a better support system for the Georgia Latino Community by improving collaboration between serviced providers and energizing strategies of change to support the Latin community
Objectives
1. Advocate Training
Provide cultural competency training to Georgia advocates and service providers in order to better serve the Latino Community.
2. Community Awareness
Providing comprehensive resources and awareness to empower community members to create an environment intolerant of violence.
3. Service
Conduct research on service and resource availability in Georgia for survivors remember no more victims and survivors, its confusing, just say survivors always) of domestic violence, as well as provide support and advocacy to survivors
